While theoretical maximum range is elusive due to obstructions, this model delivers approximately 1.5 miles in typical obstructed settings. They outperform older radios in our experience.Ideal for crowded stores,properties,airports,and cruise ships,these radios offer instant communication without relying on cell networks. the included earpieces are convenient for hands-free use. charging is versatile via the desktop charger or USB cables. The weather stations are a helpful addition for planning activities. Repeater channels are待 explored, but they promise extended range. Considerar menor distancia, pero buena opción por calidad y precio. En carretera funcionó bien a 3 km. En zonas con edificios (industriales, hoteles), la cobertura supera los 200 metros. Para el precio, vale la pena. En la selva (cerros, flora), alcanzó 2 km antes de perder señal.
