They're leagues better than stock.
It's no contest. They're leagues better than stock. A great replacement for stock speakers that will cover lows decently well and highs if you're setup lacks tweeters.

Freaking Great Sounds Coming from these.
Running a 400 Watt RMS 4 channel amp to these and I have two 6.5in cobalt bullet Orions in the back doors. I had JVC 6x9s at first and they were being pushed when the bass hits. Since changing them out, NIGHT and DAY. I can go higher in volume at the same settings I had with the JVCs and the highs are crisp and the speaker does not sound like it is getting too much of the low pass. I do have the front door spkrs (these Orion 6x9s) set to mid/high pass. I love these speakers and how they sound at a higher level.
